Now it's time to think through what you might want
to put on your own website.
Whether you've got a big ministry, or you just want to
put your personal testimony on the Internet like I did, you can make an
impact on people's lives around the world.
In fact, you probably already have many of the
materials lying around that can be added to a website fairly easily (and
inexpensively).
A woman from an island off the coast of Spain wrote me
one day to say that she had printed some of my sermon outlines to
share with her congregation. They only have about 10 people at the
church every Sunday and don't have a pastor currently, so they used my
message to encourage the believers.
We often have no idea how God will use His Word
if we will just make it available to people. The Bible promises:
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is
my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
(Isaiah 55:10-11, NIV)
I imagine by this point you're convinced this is a
good idea. Gutenberg would have been tickled pink. Now,
how do you get started?
